Meh

This is one of my favorite expressions, mostly because of B. Basically anything that comes out of his mouth that sounds remotely familiar or witty is from the Simpsons. Well, he does have a lot of wit of his own too, but the Simpsons are a huge part.  One of the many reasons he makes me smile and keeps me somewhat sane in all of this.

Anyways, Meh is just a perfect expression, for many reasons. It can be used in so many situations. Its the verbal equivalent of a shoulder shrug. Here's urban dictionary's take on it.

Most importantly right now, it describes how I'm feeling during this 2ww. Meh.

Meh Meh Meh Meh Meh! (said really fast) (I guess there's a bit of anger behind that one too)

I'm sure some of you might be wondering how I'm feeling. Today I'm 5dp3dt (5 days past 3 day transfer). I have no real updates on symptoms. I know this doesn't mean anything, but I still feel a small sense of impending doom.

My beta is next week... Tuesday... Meh.

    Yep Meh! Yep Meh!

Anyways, super good luck for the beta...I pray that you and B don't get to say 'Meh' on the result at all!

Thanks for the lovely comment you left on my blog.

  5. I think "Meh" is a good way to feel during the 2ww! It a heck of a lot better than the overanalyzing every twitch and tingle and being so paranoid that it didn't work that you don't sleep! Of course, I wouldn't know ANYTHING about that. Ahem. Anyway, you sound like you have an amazing attitude! Sending tons of positive thoughts your way!

  6. That's about how I tend to feel at that point in the 2ww. Hold on to Meh as long as you can! Soon the broken record ("Maybe I'm pregnant... no way am I pregnant... but maybe I am pregnant... no way am I...") will begin and you will long for Meh!

Oh, the 2ww, how I loathe thee.

  8. The 2ww is just torture but we are all sending you love and positive vibes. Meh....is a good description for how you are feeling and also about this time of year. I keep waiting for the daylight savings hoping that will take away the general blues I am feeling lately. TRY to stay positive and we are all thinking about you!
